December 2, 2011 After 33 years in practice with our office, Gary Voight has decided to retire! His last day at our office will be December 29, 2011. We appreciate a fine relationship over the years, and wish Gary the very best of luck. He will continue to work 1 day a week at Drs. Graham's office fitting contacts.

October 17, 2012 Michele Benson and Dr. Benson went with a group of eye professionals from Capital City Medical Teams to Coya, Peru. There we saw hundreds of patients with challenging medical and surgical problems. Three Ophthalmologist operated from morning until night out of two operating rooms. The person not operating saw patients in the clinic. We found the patients and staff of Peru to be most indearing. The people on the trip were Paul Shults M.D. and his family and office staff from Medford, Lucky Burkett Russ Leavitt M.D from Grants Pass, nurse anesthestist Skip from Medford, Maureen Jespersen R.N. from Klamth Falls, Jim Theen M.D. and wife Kathy Theen R.N. It was a life changing experience.

February 17, 2013 We are in the process of combining the practice with Klamath Eye Center. This is a win-win-win-win situation.

It provides continuinty of care to our fine patients as I gradually slow down.

It allows me to work as much (or as little) as I care to.

It gives the staff training and jobs!

It give Klamath Eye Center access to the world's greatest patients: you!

We envision it workinfg like this: I will continue to work at the present office three or four days a week. Our staff stays the same. One the days that I am not working either Scott Stevens M.D., Jennifer Sparks O.D. or Ed Tuhy O.D. from Klamath Eye Center will work at our office. The computer systems will be combined. Dr. Fay will purchase the office building.

I'm not sure how much longer I will continue to work, but with a great arrangement like this I could continue working for a very long time!
